Hi family & friends. Thank you to everyone that has donated to this fundraiser so far. I wish this update was more positive, but my family has continued to run into hardships since the devastating house fire that took their home.

Shortly after the house fire, my Aunt Debbie (a recently retired teacher), was diagnosed with bladder cancer. Since her diagnosis, she has undergone major surgery and continues to receive treatment. Although this has been a major hurdle, she is strong and we are supporting her on the road to recovery.

In the midst of this, they are also still dealing with the house fire aftermath and housing insecurity. They are battling with insurance to cover reconstruction costs and are currently renting an apartment on top of still having to pay their mortgage.

Between the unexpected medical bills and housing bills, they are still really struggling. Any donation amount is very much appreciated and thank you so much for supporting my family!

I'm writing this on behalf of my cousin Bethany, her husband Derek, their newborn baby Harrison, & my Aunt Debbie. They just lost everything in a devastating house fire this weekend (9/2/2023).

My cousin, her husband, and the baby just moved in with my aunt this weekend and they have now lost everything. Baby Harrison was just born on 7/29/2023 and they recently decided to move in with my Aunt to help save money. Their new car seat, crib, clothes, and much more are all gone.

We're starting this fundraiser to help them get back on their feet. Funds will be used to help with displacement costs, replacing lost items from the fire, and overall support.
