Hi,

I’m Callum and I decided to found The Scottish Video Game Orchestra to provide people the opportunity to perform and hear live the soundtracks to all their favourite video games.

As the former MD of The London Video Game Orchestra, I know that the overheads on running an orchestra are significant from the cost of securing music, getting the rights, the weekly hire of a rehearsal venue, the hire of a concert venue, creation of a website, hiring percussion, and of course marketing costs.

I’m looking to fundraise to secure the initial costs of rehearsals, music, and website to help get the SVGO off the ground, and begin rehearsals by January 2027

The ambition down the line is to provide unique and exciting performance opportunities for musicians in venues such as the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall.
