Support the Scooterists

Donation protected
A number of unsuspecting scooter enthusiasts have been issued with Parking Tickets during their weekend rally at Bridlington.

We, the traders, hoteliers, and members of the public feel this will leave a sour taste and give out an unwelcoming message.

As a tourist destination we rely on visitors, and the Autumn Scooter Rally is a welcome event on the calendar and a great out-of-season boost to the town.

We would like to help pay the parking fines that have been issued to our Scooter guests and have set up this gofundme page to help pay the fines that have been issued this weekend.

If any business or individual would like to donate, it would be most welcome and give out a positive message to our friends who have visited the town on the Scooter Rally this year.

If any Scooter rider has been issued with a Parking Ticket could they call into JJ's Mini Mart on Promenade (Opposite Premier Inn) from 7.am on Sunday 28th October with their ticket and details we will be happy to help with payment of the fine. Or email [email redacted] by Wednesday 31st October with your details, including your name , accommodation, picture of the ticket, and your bike reg number.

If the fund is in surplus after the fines have been paid the remaining monies will be donated to the Royal British Legion Alderson House/ Bridlington Echo Mini Bus Appeal.

A number of scooterists from the Armed Forces Scooter Club and many others also attended a ceremony at the Bridlington War Memorial to replace vandalised poppies and pay Remembrance after hearing about the damage caused.

THANK YOU.
