Why We Need You
The Sabai Times is Myanmar’s first sustainability forum and quarterly publication in English and Burmese, launched in 2024 by the Shwetaungthagathu Reform Initiative Centre (SRIc). As a hybrid think tank, SRIc is committed to shaping policy debate and public understanding on sustainability, governance, development, environment, and socio-cultural issues in Myanmar.
In a time of overlapping political, economic, and humanitarian crises, independent, high-quality coverage of sustainability is more urgent than ever. But sustaining a publication in Myanmar under such pressures is no small feat. That’s why we’re asking for your support.
