<div>As some of u know, my moms been battling cancer for almost 5 years now. She was diagnosed with stage 4 neuroendocrine cancer in 2020 and later that year with breast cancer. Thankfully, she went into remission for the breast cancer after a year; she’s jumped from treatment to treatment for the neuroendocrine cancer and while they were able to stabilize it for months at a time, it has slowly continued to take over her body. Over these last few years we’ve been flooded with medical bills that seem never ending and because of support we’ve received from family and friends we’ve been able to keep our family afloat. However, in the last 6 months, we’ve watched our mom go from being a hopeful and independent woman to losing the ability to walk and take care of herself. All of which has been unimaginably difficult for us but much more importantly for her. She’s currently in the hospital recovering from the impact of 3 seizures she had over the span of a weekend and has come a long way in her recovery but unfortunately at this point she needs around the clock care. We’ve run out of options and we need help. Please donate if you are able to, any little bit goes a long way, and please share this post. We greatly appreciate anyone who has taken the time to read this.

<div>Como algunos de ustedes saben, mi madre ha estado luchando contra el cáncer por los últimos 5 años. Le diagnosticaron cáncer neuroendocrino en etapa 4 en el 2020 y, más tarde ese año, cáncer de seno. Afortunadamente, su cáncer de seno entró en remisión después de un año; Ella pasó de un tratamiento a otro para el cáncer neuroendocrino y, aunque pudieron estabilizarlo durante meses, poco a poco, el cáncer continuó apoderándose de su cuerpo hasta la actualidad. Durante estos últimos años nos hemos visto inundados de gastos médicos que parecen no tener fin y gracias al apoyo que hemos recibido de familiares y amigos hemos podido mantener a nuestra familia a flote. Sin embargo, en los últimos 6 meses, hemos visto a nuestra mamá pasar de ser una mujer esperanzada e independiente a perder la capacidad de caminar y cuidar de sí misma. Todo lo cual ha sido increíblemente difícil para nosotros y mucho más dificil para ella. Actualmente se encuentra en el hospital recuperándose del impacto de 3 convulsiones que tuvo durante un fin de semana y enfrenta un largo camino de recuperación, desafortunadamente en este momento necesita atención las 24 horas. Nos hemos quedado sin opciones y necesitamos ayuda. Por favor, si puedes donar, cualquier poquito es de gran ayuda y si puedes compartir esta publicación.
