Support The Rainbow STEM Alliance

Tax deductible
Hello everyone, and thank you for coming to our Go Fund Me. We are back once again to ask for money, but this time to fund a not for profit 501(c)(3) registered charity! Two years ago, our co-founder Jon Kentfield, started a Go Fund Me (Go Fund Me 1  Go Fund Me 2 ) to get lapel pins made for the LGBTQ+ of FIRST student group. A lot has changed over the last two years, and unfortunately even more has stayed the same.

Over the last two years, with the support of our amazing FIRST Community, we have raised almost $4,000 to get lapel pins made for these students to give away free of charge to FIRST participants at events across the globe.

This year Jon worked closely with two friends on the creation of a non-profit, The Rainbow STEM Alliance, inc. We are looking to go further than ever before, and this Go Fund Me is our launching point! We are looking to raise over $5,000 which will allow us to fulfill our mission to promote acceptance and inclusion of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Questioning, etc. youth within the Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics educational fields.

Our primary focus is K-12 robotics competitions, and supporting the LGBTQ+ of FIRST group.Your donations will help us to purchase more pins, pronoun ribbons for at The FIRST Championship Houston and Detroit, as well as other promotional materials, and operating expenses.

Through Go Fund Me and the PayPal Giving Fund, all donations are tax deductible, but if you would rather give The Rainbow STEM Alliance support in another way, please message us!
