<div>In early 2023, Sophy was experiencing back pain and difficulty swallowing certain foods.  After an endoscopy, she was diagnosed with Adenocarcinoma - stomach cancer.  On June 6, 2023 the Poisson family received the absolute worst news that Sophy's cancer had already progressed to stage 4.  It's been quite a journey with meeting doctors all over the country and hoping for solutions that could cure or sustain life.

<div>We are organizing this fundraiser to help with the astronomical amount of medical bills that have already piled up along with future medical expenses.
