Dear Friends, Family, and Kind Strangers,

It is with heavy hearts that we share the devastating news of the loss of Jose Perez and Angela Perez Aviles' precious princess. This family awaited their princess with a lot of love stored up for the past 9 years from the parents to the future brothers and sisters. Ailany Abigail Perez, who was expected to be born in late February 2025, but during a hospital run due to a severe contraction, the baby’s heartbeat was at first found. During the hospital visit, her heartbeat was lost, leading the doctor’s decision to proceed with an emergency C-section. As the baby was brought to the world at 4:57 pm, she passed due to the lack of oxygen on December 26, the birthday of her and her youngest brother as well as the day after Christmas. This unimaginable loss has brought all of us deep sorrow, and we are navigating a grief we never expected to face.

While grieving the loss of Ailany Abigail Perez, the family is also faced with unexpected expenses of medical expenses and funeral or memorial costs, and the need for time off work to process and heal. We humbly ask for your support to help ease these burdens so they can focus on honoring their baby’s memory and taking the time they need to heal.

Queridos amigos, familiares y amables desconocidos,

Con el corazón destrozado, compartimos la devastadora noticia de la pérdida de la preciosa princesa de José Pérez y Ángela Pérez Avilés. Esta familia esperaba a su princesa con mucho amor acumulado durante los últimos 9 años, desde los padres hasta los futuros hermanos y hermanas. Ailany Abigail Pérez, quien estaba prevista para nacer a finales de febrero de 2025, falleció trágicamente. Durante una visita al hospital debido a una fuerte contracción, inicialmente se encontró su latido, pero lamentablemente, más tarde se perdió. Esto llevó a los médicos a tomar la decisión de proceder con una cesárea de emergencia.

La pequeña llegó al mundo a las 4:57 p.m. el 26 de diciembre, el cumpleaños de ella y de su hermano menor, así como el día después de Navidad. Sin embargo, debido a la falta de oxígeno, falleció poco después de nacer. Esta pérdida inimaginable ha traído un profundo dolor a nuestras vidas, y estamos atravesando un duelo que nunca esperábamos enfrentar.

Mientras lloran la pérdida de Ailany Abigail Pérez, la familia también enfrenta gastos médicos inesperados, costos funerarios o de un servicio conmemorativo, y la necesidad de tomarse un tiempo fuera del trabajo para procesar y sanar. Humildemente pedimos su apoyo para ayudar a aliviar estas cargas y permitirles centrarse en honrar la memoria de su bebé y tomarse el tiempo necesario para sanar.
