<div>My brother Nick was hit by a car while crossing the street just blocks from his home on Sunday, May 18th. Unfortunately for the second time in his life.

<div>When he was 13, almost 25 years ago he was hit by a car while walking home from a friends house. My parents have already experienced the unimaginable, and now our entire family is reliving the trauma and Nick is fighting the same fight.

<div>Though my brother Nick miraculously recovered at 13, his entire life changed. And today he lives with my mom in Tampa, Florida. He has already lived such a hard life, and now had another huge fight for his life.

<div>My mom is currently not working, as she is doing everything she can to care for my brother. And obviously we don’t know what this road to recovery will look like. So many have reached out asking how they can help. First and foremost, please lift my brother, Nicholas, up in prayer. Ask that he is healed and gets his chance at life. I truly do not believe he survived his accident at 13 to just experience the same tragedy again. Pray for his medical team and for my parents to find strength as they care for their son. As a parent, I cannot imagine how they are feeling.

<div>If you are able to, we ask that you help financially so that my mom does not bear the burden of having to go back to work right now while Nick is fighting for his life. At the end of this road there will be medical bills that I cannot even begin to imagine. So please, any little bit helps.

<div>As of today, Monday 5/19 Nick is in a medically induced coma. Something we unfortunately are familiar with. We will wait for more answers as they monitor his injuries and brain swelling.
