On the early morning of July 12th, the McDonald family—Pat and Wendy—woke to the terrifying sight of their garage engulfed in flames. The fire not only destroyed their garage but also caused damage to their home and belongings, leaving them to recover from this unexpected disaster. The loss has deeply impacted their daily lives, forcing them to seek temporary living arrangements and cope with the emotional and financial strain of replacing cherished items and repairing their home.

 Pat and Wendy have been our neighbors on Terrace Drive in Port Washington for over 20 years. They are more than just neighbors—they are family to so many of us in this community. Their kindness, generosity, and unwavering support have touched countless lives, and now it’s our turn to rally around them in their time of need.
