My name is Vanessa, and I’m reaching out to ask for help on behalf of my family of seven: myself, my two children, my mother who is disabled, and my three siblings. Together, my siblings and I share the responsibility of being full-time caregivers for our mother, who requires daily assistance and support.

After 12 years of living in the same rented home, we’ve recently received notice to vacate. This news has left us overwhelmed and urgently in need of help to relocate and secure a new, safe, and accessible place to live.

Because caregiving is our full-time focus, our financial resources are stretched thin. The unexpected costs of moving—on top of caring for our mother and raising my children—are more than we can manage alone.
