<div>Akko and Eugene are pillars of the Pasadena and Altadena community. For 2 years they have been teaching the Afro-Brazilian Martial Art of Capoeira for the youth of their community at Capoeira Batuque Pasadena. They have two beautiful kids of their own who also participate in Capoeira. Both Akko and Eugene are educators (Akko is a Adapted Physical Education Teacher and Eugene is a College Professor). Their hard work and devotion has given many young people a place for positive expression and a sense of belonging. On January 8th, this wonderful Altadena family lost their home in the Eaton Fire and will now have to start again from scratch. Please join us in supporting this loving family.
