<div>My family is one of those victims in Altadena. Little did we know that on Wednesday 1/8/25, that would be the last time my family and I would see our standing home. Thankfully we made it out except for our cat Max, who was so scared that she hid and was unable to be saved before the fire got worse. The home that I’ve only ever known is nothing more than ashes. The home that my grandma provided and raised her children, grandchildren, cousins &amp; others in is gone. We are homeless and cannot afford anything as close to what we once shared.
