My name is Nicole and I am proud to say I was my dad's daughter for 16 years.

He loved to take us fishing. My favorite memories together were fishing with him and playing minecraft :) He was also the best cook.

He had an answer for any question I asked him.

On his death bed he told us that back then people were able to tell if it was going to rain just by feeling the sky. Because they were so connected with nature. And that nowadays we are so desensitized to these feelings because of the time we waste with electronics. He told us to eat healthy and take care of our bodies. But most of all be happy and present. Look at the trees and drink some tea.

My dad was diagnosed with stage 3 cancer, heart failure, and kidney failure last year. He passed away Sept 14 at 11:30am at 45 years old. He had a very long, painful journey but he's at peace now. We're at a pinch right now and are trying our best to get through this. I want to help my mom to raise money for a small funeral.
