<div><strong>Help Us Build the Dating App Leftists Deserve</strong>
</div>
<div>Dating is complicated enough. Finding out on date three that someone’s politics are fundamentally incompatible with yours shouldn’t be part of the process.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>In modern romance, a shared worldview isn’t just a preference to be listed among your hobbies, drinking habits, and height. It’s a prerequisite. We’re building LeftLynk to offer common-ground clarity from the very first match, so people can spend less time vetting and more time connecting.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>A different way to meet</strong>
</div>
<div>LeftLynk began when three strangers met online and realized they all wanted the same thing: a better way to connect with people who genuinely shared their values.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<ul>
<li>Not another endless swipe cycle.
</li>
<li>Not another bio that keeps politics conveniently vague.
</li>
<li>Not another first date that turns into a debate.
</li>
</ul>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>A place where leftists can meet potential partners, make friends, and build community with people who believe, like they do, that a better world is possible. That place didn’t exist yet. So we're building it together.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>What makes LeftLynk different?</strong>
</div>
<div>LeftLynk is a thoughtfully built, politically driven dating app designed to make connection feel more human. We’re building an experience that will:
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<ul>
<li>Help people connect around shared political values from the start
</li>
<li>Replace endless swiping with slower, more thoughtful interaction
</li>
<li>Create more ways to meet, talk, and play together
</li>
<li>Make room for romantic, platonic, and community connection
</li>
<li>Protect users’ personal information rather than treating it as a product
</li>
</ul>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Our goal isn’t to tell you who you’ll have chemistry with. It’s to give that chemistry a better place to begin.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Why we’re asking for help</strong>
</div>
<div>LeftLynk is an independent project being built by a small team that believes deeply in its potential. We have no investors to answer to (very much by design), and we’ve made meaningful progress. But bringing a secure, functional app to launch requires resources we don’t currently have on our own. Your donation will help us move from a limited, browser-only experience to a real app people can download, join, and use.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Where your donation will go</strong>
</div>
<div>Funds raised through this campaign will help cover:
</div>
<div>Development tools and infrastructure: The production services required to build, operate, and maintain a functional app
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<ul>
<li>Additional development support: Bringing in a second developer to complete assigned features, test the experience, and resolve issues before launch
</li>
<li>Privacy and security: Creating a safer platform where users can connect with confidence
</li>
<li>Branding and marketing: Reaching the people LeftLynk was made for and building a strong early community
</li>
<li>Team support: Compensating team members who have contributed their time and expertise to the project without pay
</li>
</ul>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Help us fund the future of connection</strong>
</div>
<div>You don’t have to donate a lot to make a difference. Five dollars, twenty dollars, or whatever you can comfortably contribute helps bring LeftLynk closer to launch. If donating isn’t possible right now, sharing this campaign with your friends, group chats, mutual-aid circles, online communities, or chronically single comrades helps too.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Early supporters will also receive special recognition inside the app after launch, as well as any early access beta users will receive a free month upon full launch! If you donate, please save a screenshot of your contribution so we can verify it when the time comes. Thank you so much for taking the time to read about this project. Let's go make the world a more connected place!
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>With solidarity,
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Zach, Jamie, and Shan
</div>
<div><br />
