Ilson is survived by her loving daughters Sylvia and Liz, and her husband 김주일 (Chuil Kim). Ilson was a proud mother, wife, businesswoman, and store owner. She taught her daughters the power of hard work, persistence, empathy and love; she exemplified these qualities with the grace and love she showed to others in her community on a daily basis.

There are significant financial needs where the family would benefit from support: mortuary services in Florida, transportation of Ilson's remains from Jacksonville, FL to Cherry Hill, NJ and funeral expenses/burial plot in Cherry Hill where she will be laid to rest alongside her parents. The Kim's are a strong, proud family and Ilson was a true matriarch who they must now learn how to navigate life without. The loss of a loved one is always tragic, the sudden and violent death of a loved one is unimaginable. If able, please join us in helping to ease the burden of these expenses and support her family as you are able during this difficult time.

If inclined please share this fundraiser with others in your community who have been touched by Ilson's death. This fundraiser is being coordinated by friends of the Kim family on their behalf.
