<div>It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Judy M. Freed, a wife, mother, grandmother, sister, teacher, and friend who was taken from us too soon, on Tuesday, July 16, 2024. She left us peacefully at home, surrounded by her family.

<div>Judy's commitment to education extended beyond the classroom. To honor her memory and lifelong dedication, we have established the Judy Freed Memorial Scholarship Fund. This fund will provide scholarships to deserving students at Wichita West High School, where Judy spent the majority of her teaching career.
