Support the Huni Kui people with PPE

Chief Ninawa, President of the Huni Kui People' Federation of the Brazilian Amazon has issued an emergency request for at least 15,000 PPE masks and sanitation supplies in order to curb the serious, deathly threat of COVID-19 to their community.

COVID-19 has disproportionately affected indigenous people all over the planet. The Huni Kui people are incomprehensibly valuable to the planet due to their stewardship of the Amazon rainforest.

100% of the funds donated will go to the emergency relief fund established by protectthepeoples.org , a coalition of several indigenous advocacy groups who have already distributed 80,000 PPE masks to indigenous communities who are hit the worst by this pandemic. Protect the peoples has issued a statement in which they deem the Huni Kui situation an immediate danger and a priority, and will be doing everything in their power to support these protectors of the Amazon rainforest, their rich culture, their health, and their livelihood.
