#CorazónDelMundo is an important message of the Indigenous Elder Mamo Rumaldo Lozano Gil guardian of the sacred site TEYUNA (The Lost City) in the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, #Colombia. This message is about the roots of our climate crisis and an invitation to take care of Nature, Trees, Water, Quartz, and Gold.

The Heart Of The World is a mystical place in Colombia where its complex ecosystem is balancing the health of the entire earth. It is a sacred site that protects four of the most important indigenous communities in the world. Those communities are preserving and protecting ancestral knowledge that is invaluable to humanity. Now they want to teach us the way to live again in harmony with nature without destroying it.

The TAYRONA were the native community that has lived in harmony with the ecosystem for more than 4000 years. They preserved ancestral knowledge that is key in our own restoration and preservation of the balance in our ecosystems. The "Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta" in Colombia is a natural pyramid of snow; a special mountain by the sea, over 5,600 meters high and millions of years old, the largest coastal mountain in the world. The Sierra has all the thermal floors represented, from tropical heat to perpetual snow.

A reserve of the biosphere and World Heritage Site. It’s a network of ecosystems that balance the natural ecosystem of the world.

“Along this stretch of coastline, you have a microcosm for what's is happening in the Caribbean and also on the rest of the planet, their view that all these sites are connected and the activities of destruction here are having an impact at large scale in the world is right".
Alex Rogers, World leader in marine biology.

Who we are?

We are a non-profit foundation dedicated to planting trees that tell stories, we are a group of artists and indigenous leaders that strive to preserve nature, preserve, document and share ancestral knowledge, creating forests trough out various types of art like, films, music, events, and reforesting. Our trees provide a sustainable source of food security with agroforestry forest that supports native communities and wildlife. They also generate projects that promote education, culture, and community.

My name is Santiago Roa, I am a creative Director working in various types of art like film, photography, and music. I ́m the founder and Director of the Jaguar Siembra Natur & Kultur Verein; creating forests with art, working in environmental, social and cultural topics. Now I ́m currently directing a transmedia film, called: Corazón Del Mundo, my first documentary alongside a reforestation project with the indigenous people in the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, Colombia.

Born and raised in Colombia, now I ́m based in Vienna.

This project was born as a transmedia project that is focused to send a positive message to humanity. We started with the idea to make a series of short films preserving, documenting, and sharing the stories and messages of the ancestral wisdom by our native peoples in Colombia. The project focuses on the idea that art can touch and move hearts, beyond that it is one of our most precious ways to plant consciousness in the times that we are living in. Art can make much more to create harmony in us, our communities and our environment. We started to plant trees after the first journey of filming in the Sierra and now we want to continue to do it until we can with your help.

EVERY TREE COUNTS!

TOGETHER WE ARE WATER, AIR, FOREST, MEDICINE, FOOD, AND MUCH MORE!

THANKS FOR PLANTING LIFE WITH US!
