UPDATE(9/29/21): It’s with deep sadness and a heavy heart that we share the tragic loss of Beau earlier this week. The outpouring of love, support, and kind words speaks volumes to the person Beau was.  “To know Beau, is to love Beau.” ❤️

Our deepest gratitude for the donations and support of this beautiful family. The loss of this great man is profound. May you Rest In Peace, Beau. You will forever be in our hearts.

Hello Friends and Family,

To anyone who has had the privilege to know Beau Hadley, you know he is one of a kind! A man that supports his community with 10-years of service to the Ada County Sheriff's office, a father of 2 gorgeous girls(Dillyn and Mia), and husband to his high school sweetheart of 19 years(Shannah). He truly is one of the good guys with a beautiful soul and charming smile! Sadly, the last few years have brought many health struggles to Beau and his family needs our support.

Beau was diagnosed in July 2018 with stage 2 Esophageal Cancer. He underwent chemotherapy and radiation and in October of 2018 he had his esophagus removed to make sure any remaining cancer was gone. Unfortunately, the cancer returned in February of 2019. He has been undergoing treatment ever since, but still continued to work 40 hours a week as a sheriff's deputy to support his family. In March of this year, Beau got an infection in his liver and was unable to fully recover from it. He had to discontinue working as he had become too weak to perform his duties. Last week, the doctors told Beau that his abdomen was filled with tumors. Beau and Shannah have made the difficult decision to start hospice at home.

Beau and Shannah’s daughters are in high school(Dillyn is a senior and Mia is a sophomore) and would greatly benefit from your help. This Go Fund Me will support their college education and anything you can give to these beautiful girls would be appreciated beyond words. Beau is an amazing father and his legacy will be continued on through them.

Much love and support to the Hadley Family.

Beau, you are loved and cherished by so many!

We encourage you to share a story or dedication to Beau’s character in the comments below after you’ve donated. A few of Beau’s friends have shared some beautiful words and this is how he will always be remembered.

His dedication, commitment, and work ethic is second to none. I observed this firsthand as I worked closely with him during my time at the ACSO. His love for his family is well known and he'd do anything for them. Before I "knew" (met) his family, I KNEW THEM, because that's what he spoke most about to me. From his love for his wife's yummy cooking to his daughter's passions and activities at school or otherwise, that IS who and what he spoke most about. Shannah, Dillyn, and Mia! They are his LIFE and they are what gave him the strength, the fight, and the purpose to push so hard until the very very end. I was fond of "Hadley" from the very first day I met him, my first day at the County. He was so helpful and patient and most of all, GENUINE. I knew that if I needed anything I could count on him for help. And he'd do it with a SMILE. He is a light when he walks in the room, because he is so well liked and loved. Even on the days when I knew he was struggling, he showed up and showed out. He never complained. He never played the victim. He just DID his job and did it well. When he wasn't at work, it was absolutely felt. We all miss him dearly. Being privileged to get to know him on a more personal level after meeting his beautiful family, well, that just made me love the guy even more. Because all the words and stories became a reality. I was able to witness it. It wasn't just talk, I SAW the reality of what I'd heard so much about. He really, really LOVES HIS FAMILY. No doubt about it. And this is what life is all about. Being an honorable hu(man). He is the epitome of a good and faithful servant. To God, his Wife, his Children, his career/employer, his friends, and to anyone who knew him or was blessed enough to cross his path. I sure do love my friend and I can't fathom this world without his presence in it. ♥

As you know he is my best friend. He is the kindest and best person that I’ve ever known. He is compassionate, caring and full of love. He values family and friends above anything. His girls are everything to him (that is all 3 of you…). He is a great singer and dancer (both goofy and serious singing and dancing not sure which one he is better at). He has always loved life and has always loved you!!!
