Hello, my name is Denise Greene. I live in Altadena, California with my husband, Michael, our 13-year-old daughter, 6-year-old son, and our 2-year-old husky pups, Xena and Coco.

On Wednesday, January 8th, 2025, we lost our beloved home of 20 years and everything we own in the recent and ongoing Eaton Canyon Fire in Altadena, California. My husband and I had recently done an extensive remodel on our forever home. We put every dime we had into our home. We planned to make it a family home that could be passed down to our children. They had beautiful bedrooms that they loved and cherished. We now have nothing. Our hearts and prayers go out to those who have lost their homes or have been displaced.

Everything we own burned down to the ground in this devastating fire. Our entire city is in mourning. We were only able to grab a few things such as our vital records, a few clothing items, and a few photos. We have never done a GoFundMe before. We are very proud, but we are asking for help. Help to get us back on our feet. Your donations will help us with the first crucial steps. Anything you can give, anything would be most greatly appreciated. I’m glad we were able to make it out safely. My husband, children, two husky pups, and I would be most grateful for your support. Blessings and heartfelt thanks to you all.
