Support the Gorrie’s

On the morning of the 24th of November at 8:31am Nanwan (Wani) came into the world, soon after their sibling Yerrung (Yeeri) arrived at 8:43am delivered by their strong Mum Nayuka with their Dad Witt by their side. 

Wani and Yeeri blessed us with their arrival almost 3 months early, they couldn't wait to join us! But by joining us at only 27 weeks old the twins will need to stay in the NICU until their due date in February 2020. They are incredibly strong and at the hospital they’ll be getting the care they need to able to head home with their parents. In the meantime, Nayuka and Witt need to visit daily, resulting in Nayuka and Witt taking time off work over the following three months.

Taking this time off will put a financial burden on the family, one they shouldn’t have when newborns arrive unexpectedly. We want to support them to take the time they need to be together as a new family without worrying about the financial issues that could follow.

Nayuka and Witt have been committing so much time to supporting their communities and here is the time we can give some back to them.
