After 45+ years of calling our Altadena house home, <strong>my parents' home has been lost</strong>. Though we are all safe—our family and pets are okay—the emotional and financial toll of this tragedy has left us struggling to find our footing.

For more than four decades, it held memories of birthdays, holidays, and countless moments of laughter, love, and togetherness. <div>The Eaton Fire took everything. The structure, the possessions, everything. We are grieving not just the loss of a home, but of a piece of our hearts. However, as we cope with this loss, we are thankful that we still have each other and that no one was physically harmed.
