<div><em>Honoring a Legacy. Empowering the Future of Freediving in Trinidad &amp; Tobago.</em>

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Freedive Fest, and South Florida have always shared a special connection with Trinidad &amp; Tobago. Palm Beach itself was named after coconuts brought from Trinidad, and one of our co-founders, Keke McBride, is a proud citizen of T&amp;T. Event co-founder Virgil Price, our late friend and mentor, shared that same deep bond — mentoring local athletes and helping to build the foundation of freediving in the islands.

</div>

<div>In 2023, we joined Virgil in hosting a freediving camp in Trinidad &amp; Tobago, where we trained new divers and instructors. That event was a turning point — igniting a growing freedive community that continues to flourish today.

<div><strong>The Vision</strong>

</div>

<div>The Virgil Price Memorial Scholarship Fund exists to continue Virgil’s mission: making freediving more accessible, inclusive, and sustainable in Trinidad &amp; Tobago.

</div>

<div>This year, our goal is to raise $12,500, which will:

</div>

<ul>

<li>Sponsor 3 athletes from Trinidad &amp; Tobago to attend South Florida Freedive Fest 2025, where they’ll receive elite coaching and international exposure.

</li>

<li>Support the first-ever Freedive Fest Trinidad and Tobago (T&amp;T), helping to make registration, equipment, and training more affordable for local athletes.

</li>

</ul>

<div><br />

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>By balancing travel opportunities with local development, we can open doors for rising athletes now while investing in the long-term growth of freediving in the Caribbean.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div><strong>How It Works</strong>

</div>

<ul>

<li>Each athlete sponsorship is valued at $2,500 — covering airfare, lodging, food, and event fees.

</li>

<li>The remaining funds will be dedicated to subsidizing Freedive Fest T&amp;T, helping make the event accessible to the next generation of divers who cannot yet travel abroad.

</li>

<li>Athletes will be nominated by local freediving schools in Trinidad &amp; Tobago.

</li>

</ul>

<div><br />

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div><strong>Why It Matters</strong>

</div>

<div>Many talented freedivers in Trinidad &amp; Tobago face barriers like lack of access to training, limited travel resources, and high costs of certification. This fund helps bridge that gap — offering pathways to compete, connect, and represent T&amp;T proudly on the world stage.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Your donation supports not just individual athletes, but an entire movement to elevate freediving in the Caribbean.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div><strong>Accountability &amp; Transparency</strong>

</div>

<div>All donations go directly toward travel sponsorships and Freedive Fest T&amp;T development. Updates and photos will be shared regularly on our website and social media so donors can see their impact in real time.
