Support the future of Dutch Ice Dancing

Dear everyone,

We, Chelsea Verhaegh and Sherim van Geffen are the national champions in Ice dance from The Netherlands. We've been working hard this past season, our first season, to get more familiar with Ice Dance. The corona pandemic brought a difficult start in preparations for this season, yet through all the support we've had the great opportunity of learning from the team of Maurizio Margaglio last summer in Finland. 

Ice Dance has been off the radar in The Netherlands for years. Through representing The Netherlands internationally, we hope to make it more known again. The sky is the limit in terms of dreams. 

To be able to compete internationally, we need to finance training, costumes, equipment and competitions abroad etc. Unfortunately, we have to finance almost everything ourselves. Therefore, every little bit of help is very much appreciated!


Please help us pave the path for the future of Ice Dancing in The Netherlands.

Beste iedereen,

Wij, Chelsea Verhaegh en Sherim van Geffen zijn Nederlands kampioen ijsdansen. Afgelopen seizoen was ons eerste seizoen in het ijsdansen. De Coronapandemie bracht een breuk in de voorbereiding voor dit seizoen en toch door alle support hebben wij afgelopen zomer kunnen trainen met het team van Maurizio Margaglio in Finland. 

Helaas is ijsdansen een dure sport en we moeten bijna alles zelf financieren. Zo zijn er kosten voor alle trainingen, kostuums, sportmateriaal (schoenen etc.) en de wedstrijden en de reizen zelf etc.
Alle bijdragen, klein of groot, worden erg veel gewaardeerd!

Ijsdansen is het afgelopen decennia in Nederland wat vervaagd. Door Nederland internationaal te representeren, hopen wij het Nederlandse ijsdansen weer op de kaart te zetten.
