Eagle scout project in middlesex fells

Have you ever hiked the Rock Circuit Trail in the Middlesex Fells Reservation? After huffing and puffing to the summit of one of the hills along the trail, you may have wondered where you were or how high you climbed. For my Eagle Scout project with Troop 513 in Stoneham MA, I will lead a project that will create and install signs marking the summits of 5 peaks along the Rock Circuit trail in the Fells.

I contacted the DCR who asked me to design and create 5 signs on top of summits. Troop volunteers and I will custom-make the signs and mount them on posts, then cement them in buckets surrounded by decorative bases. We will do some of this work in a workshop and will fabricate other parts onsite. The funds I raise will go for supplies and for volunteer food.
