<div>On July 26th, 2022, Captain Roman Baishchak was killed in combat at age 25, defending his country and loved ones against Russian aggression. He is survived by his grandmother, parents, wife and two young children.

<div>ABOUT ROMAN
</div>
<div>Roman Pavlovych Baishchak (b. April 4, 1997) was a native of Lviv, Ukraine, and a graduate of the National Academy of Ground Forces, Hetman Petro Sahaidachny.
</div>

</div>
<div>After completing his studies, he joined the ranks of the elite 128th Separate Mountain Zakarpattia Brigade, a division in the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. With his brigade, he toured combat zones in eastern Ukraine three times. 
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>In 2022, he was awarded the badge of the Commander of the Armed Forces of Ukraine “For service and valor” of the third degree.
</div>

<div>Roman was known for his energetic, adventurous and ever-positive spirit and will be remembered forever as a loving father, husband, son, grandson and hero.
</div>
