Hi everyone! Ruben and Moe here.
We are the Co-Directors of The Drop Dance Studio Inc here in Tucson, AZ and we have been fortunate to be able to provide a safe and fulfilling space for dancers of all backgrounds to learn, share and create their dance art and expression.
For over 9 years now, this studio has been a home away from home to many and we couldn't be more grateful for every person who has contributed to the growth (Big and Small) of our studio. Being able to witness the joy, creativity, artistry, and community connection all these years always fuels us to continue to push as hard as we can to maintain this studio open for the community and future generations.
Due to Covid-19, our studio took a big hit and has drastically slowed down our operations and services as a studio. We are extremely fortunate to now be open once again, however, due to the regulations, procedures, and capacity limitations for everyone's safety, we are having difficulty keeping up with all of our expenses.
We have pushed our studio in a new direction and are excited to announce that we are almost finalized as an official Non-Profit organization, however, the process for application is taking longer than expected and we are in need of any assistance with funding for the time being.
We want to keep our dance studio open to continue to provide quality dance education to our community and continue to provide a safe space for our youth to learn and flourish. Any donation will help us out greatly and all contributions will go towards...
- Studio Expenses (Rent, Payroll, Utilities)
- Providing more Dance and Educational Sessions
- Maintaining low/affordable dance class prices and programs
If we are being honest, we would appreciate you supporting us by coming down and taking some of our classes at the studio where you can get an experience for your monetary support, however, we do know not everyone can or feels comfortable enough to venture into our space amid a pandemic so supporting our GoFundMe will truly be appreciated from all of us at The Drop!
