毎年約50万人もの観光客が訪問。
ダイバーシティ先進国オランダで開かれる
世界最大級のこのパレードから、
プライドハウス東京の取り組みを世界にPRすることで、
2020年、LGBTの選手や関係者の方々に
安心して日本を訪れて欲しいと思っています。
パレードまであとすこし。
ここでボートを制作、運航する費用に充てるため、
クラウドファンディングを実施することになりました。

２０２０年を目前に日本はいま世界から注目されています。
オリンピック憲章では、性的指向による差別を禁止しています。
現在G７加盟国で、同性カップルの権利を保障する
国レベルの法制度がないのは日本だけです。
私たちはLGBTの選手、関係者の方々が、
大会期間中、日本での滞在を安心してすごしていただくためのホスピタリティ施設
「プライドハウス東京 」 の設立に向け準備をしています
プライドハウスは2010年のバンクーバーオリンピックから催され、
開催地のNPO/NGOなどによって運営されてきました。
プライドハウス東京は夏季五輪としてはアジア初の開催となります。
オランダアムステルダム市では毎年夏に
世界でも珍しい運河を使ったLGBTパレード、
キャナルパレードが開催されます。
このパレードには世界から約50万人の観光客が訪れます。
オランダ、アムステルダム市のパレードは、
さまざまなLGBTの団体が色とりどりに飾り付けられたボートで
アムステルダム市内の運河をパレードします。
このパレードに参加できるのは毎年80隻のボートに限られています。
プライドハウス東京の参加は今年の2月に正式に決まり、
日本から初めての団体としてこのイベントに参加することになりました。
私たちはダイバーシティ先進国オランダで開かれる
世界的にも有名なこのパレードから世界に向けて
プライドハウス東京の取り組みをつたえることで、
2020年、LGBTの選手、関係者に安心して日本を訪れて欲しいと思っています。
いまから419年前、
オランダから初めて日本にたどりついた船の名前は
DE LIEFDE（THE LOVE）でした。
パレードまであとすこし。
ここでボートを制作、運航する費用に充てるため、
クラウドファンディングを実施することになりました。
2019年、そして2020年の LIEFDE（ LOVE）が
より豊かで尊重される世の中になるよう、
プライドハウス東京を通して活動する私たちに、

"Aiming to create a society where everyone can be themselves from 2020"
Japan is now attracting the attention of the world just before the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Paralympics Games, where one of the key concepts is “Unity in Diversity”.
The Olympic Charter prohibits discrimination against sexual orientation.
Japan is the only G7 member that does not have a law to guarantee the rights of same sex couples.
We are working to establish "Pride House Tokyo " a facility for LGBT athletes and allies to enjoy their stay safely and comfortably.
We believe that 2020 is the most important timing for Japan to accelerate valuing diversity and inclusion. 2019 is a very important preparation period for this preparation.
In order to maximize the impact of the 2020, we decided to set up Pride House Tokyo 2019 this year.
We would like LGBT athletes and allies to spend their stay in Japan in a safe and comfortable manner in 2020
by conveying the activities of “Pride House Tokyo” to the world.
Furthermore, we hope that the exchanges of people and culture will be a trigger for respecting diversity and helping to create a richer Japanese society.
For this purpose, we selected one of the world's largest LGBT pride events, “Pride Amsterdam ” in the Netherlands, which has been working to create a diverse society ahead of the world.
By communicating Pride House Tokyo’s efforts from this parade, we believe that we can make the message we want to convey more convincing.
In February 2019 "Pride House Tokyo" was officially accepted to participate in Pride Amsterdam by the Amsterdam Gay Pride Committee.
This will be the first participant from Japan.
In order to participate in this event, it is necessary to pay the costs of creating and operating our float.
We hope that a lot of people will be able to visit Japan safely and spend their visit in Japan comfortably in 2020 by communicating the efforts of “Pride House Tokyo” to the world from the Netherlands.
It may take 5 years, 10 years, or more.
Pride House is an asset we can pass on into the future.
My hope is that we can use it to help realize a future filled with diverse and inclusiveness.
