<div>On July 9, 2025, our dear friends Louis and Sheay (De Costa) Diaz faced the unimaginable — the heartbreaking loss of their precious son, Manuel Diaz, just hours after he was delivered via emergency C-section at only 22 weeks gestation.

<div>In the days that followed, Sheay remained in the hospital for over three weeks, courageously battling a severe infection. Even after being discharged, she continued to undergo IV treatments at home as her body fought to recover. By the grace of God, she is now home and beginning the long journey of healing — physically, mentally, and emotionally.

<div>Sheay and Louis have shown remarkable strength, but this road is far from easy. As they mourn the loss of their baby boy and begin to rebuild their lives, they are also navigating growing medical expenses and the reality that Sheay is unable to return to work in the near future.
