<div>Women's cycling is at a critical moment. There are more riders, more races, more professionalism, and more eyes on the sport than ever before. But it's becoming very top heavy. The foundation, the development pathway, and the support structures need your support to keep growing in a sustainable way.

<div>Since 2017, The Cyclists’ Alliance has made huge strides to improve women’s cycling, including:
</div>
<ul>
<li>Campaigning for key equal rights, including minimum salaries and maternity rights
</li>
<li>Supported nearly 100 young women making the steps to being a pro with our annual Mentor Programme
</li>
<li>Supported more than 400 riders with dedicated free legal advice on their working rights
</li>
</ul>

<div>Women’s cycling has grown exponentially at the World Tour level. But the Continental tier, where most riders learn to race and develop the strength and skills to perform, is still fragile. This level is crucial for the future of the sport. If we don't foster that pathway, the entire sport will weaken.

<div>The Cyclists' Alliance works across that entire pathway: advocating at UCI level, mentoring the next generation, and ensuring every rider has access to the support she needs to thrive.

<div><strong>MAAP will match every donation made between June 18 and July 6, up to $10,000 AUD. Together, we're aiming to raise over $20K, and every dollar goes directly toward building a better sport.</strong>

<div>We are raising funds to continue the services that matter most:

<div>€35,000 = The cost of running TCA’s Mentor Programme until the end of 2026.

<div>€65,000 = The cost of continuing to deliver mentoring and legal support for athletes.

<div>€100,000 = The Cyclist Alliance can continue running for the rest of 2026 and into 2027, including wider athlete education &amp; advocacy with UCI.

<div><strong>Why does it cost this much? </strong>
</div>
<div>Each year The Cyclists’ Alliance:
</div>
<ul>
<li>Runs an international mentor programme connecting riders and mentors across multiple countries
</li>
<li>Provides independent legal advice when riders face contract disputes or unpaid salaries, including calling up bank guarantees
</li>
<li>Develops, distributes and analyses the annual rider survey, delivering key data on the status and issues of the womens professional peloton each year
</li>
<li>Responds to rider enquiries and cases throughout the season
</li>
<li>Represents rider interests in discussions with governing bodies and stakeholders
</li>
</ul>
<div>Even with a small team and limited resources, delivering these services requires specialised expertise and consistent coordination across the year.

<div>We operate as a lean organisation focused on services that directly support riders.
