<div>We are Miguel and Keely Silva Glenn - the owners of The Collection Bakery. We're a family-run, farmers market bakery in Tacoma and Puyallup, Washington. Our focus is on Mexican-European baked goods with a emphasis on laminated pastries.

<div>We've been participating in the Pierce County Business Accelerator Program and have an opportunity to raise funds for a matching grant. If we can raise $10,000 the program will match the funds!

<div>Our goals: Sustainability and Growth.

<div>First, to sustain our current demand by:
</div>
<ul>
<li>Hire more market/bakery staff
</li>
<li>Upgrade our health department permit to allow items such as: Carne Asada Bombas, Salsa Verde Bombas, Bacon Egg and Cheese Croissants, etc
</li>
<li>Investing in production equipment such as bakery racks, sheet pans, and bakeware
</li>
<li>Upgrade our booth equipment such as trailer/van, signage, pastry display case, packaging, sanitization equipment
</li>
<li>Ensure sustainability for offseason business expenses and productions
</li>
</ul>

<div>Second, is short and long term business development:
</div>
<ul>
<li>Large equipment upgrades such as a bread oven, larger sheeter for laminating croissants, commercial mixers
</li>
<li>The beginning phases and expenses of a retail space and build-out. *This is a long-term goal but any funds we designate will go a long way!
</li>
<li>More markets, pop-ups, and special events in the 2025 season
</li>
<li>Wholesale program. We want our pastries to be available in local cafes 7 days a week.
</li>
</ul>
