<div>Stop illegal equipment bans!
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Small family-run landscaping businesses in New Jersey are fighting an unfair ban on gas-powered leaf blowers that impacts their ability to work, especially on large, tree-filled properties where electric blowers fall short.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We are challenging this in federal court, because the federal Clean Air Act says only the federal government can regulate small engines under 50 horsepower.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Why does this matter to you?
</div>
<div>Because if local bans like this are allowed to stand, you could soon face:
</div>
<div>- Sweeping equipment bans of all gas tools. In New Jersey alone there are 3 bills in the state legislature and two are ready to pass. <a href="https://www.njleg.state.nj.us/bill-search/2024/S217" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"><a href="https://www.njleg.state.nj.us/bill-search/2024/S217" target="_blank" class="" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">https://www.njleg.state.nj.us/bill-search/2024/S217</a></a> and <a href="https://www.njleg.state.nj.us/bill-search/2024/A4666" target="_blank" class="" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">https://www.njleg.state.nj.us/bill-search/2024/A4666</a>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>- Bans on other gas tools, or even electric ones, as multiple NJ townships have started to do
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>- Limited access to emergency equipment like gas generators
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>- Confusing, inconsistent rules from town to town
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We are raising $100,000 nationally to fight this—and protect your right to fair and sensible regulation.
</div>
<div>The case is ongoing and the legal costs are significant. Your support helps keep the fight alive so small businesses can stand up to a well-funded municipal legal team, and hopefully stop this kind of overreach nationwide.
</div>
<div>Protect your right to choose your tools! Please donate and share this cause widely.
