<div>Adeline Burks was admitted to the PICU at CHOA Scottish Rite On November 16th for rhinovirus, pneumonia, and viral meningitis. While there she spent weeks intubated and was transferred to CHOA Egleston where she had heart surgery to close a huge hole in her heart on December 26th.

<div>Both Nathan and Bella have been actively by her side day in and day out driving to and from the hospital, while trying to spend as much time with their 2 year-old as possible.

<div>They are both currently out of work, and expenses are not going anywhere. Nathan is a SRO and one of Forsyth County's Finest Deputies, if I do say so myself.
