<div>Dear Friends, Family, and Community,
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>On January 8, the Burg Family lost their belongings to the Eaton Fire in Altadena, California. Christina, Adam, their two daughters, Luna (13), Sophia (11), son, Oliver (6), two cats, and tortoise have lost everything. They evacuated the previous night and are safe; however, after their devasting loss they face the unimaginable task of rebuilding their lives and covering unexpected costs during this challenging time.

</div>
<div>Our son and his family recently moved into a beautiful Altadena rental home just North of the golf course on Boulder Rd last September. They spent a wonderful holiday season in their new home and shared with us their plans to maintain the beautiful plants, fruits, and vegetables around the property this Spring season. Additionally, they operated their IT Consulting business out of their home and lost irreplaceable professional equipment, family heirlooms, collectibles, and priceless items they cherished throughout their lives.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Adam, Christina, and their family touched so many lives in countless ways. They are a blessing to everyone who knows them, whether family, friend, colleague, or classmate. Now we are asking you to help us support them as they recover and get back on their feet after this tragic loss.

</div>
<div>These funds will help them with the most immediate unexpected costs. They are starting over with only what they could take in their two cars when they evacuated. Any size contribution will make a significant difference and is greatly appreciated.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>All contributions will go directly to the family.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Thank you and blessings from,
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Virginia and Charles Burg (parents), Landon Burg (brother) and his family, Nicholas Burg (brother) and his family, and all of our extended family, and friends

<div>As requested by GoFundMe to add more specific details to who I am, where I'm from, my relationship, and how the funds will be spent: My name is Nicholas Burg and I'm the youngest brother in the Burg Family and currently reside in Louisiana. I have been collaborating on this GoFundMe page with my older brother Landon Burg (Solon, IA), our friends, and Adam's close friends. We are writing this GoFundMe on behalf of our parents Virginia and Charles Burg from Clinton, IA. We're raising funds to recover and support Adam's family during this challenging time. These funds will assist with needs that might not be fully covered by other sources of aid. Thank you and please share this link
