Hello, my name is Giovani Cifuentes. I'm an independent student filmmaker with a passion for the art of cinema, and I'm raising funds to bring my next short film "The Brainstorm" to life.

Written & directed by Giovani Cifuentes, "The Brainstorm" is a psychological thriller about a screenwriter that creates a short film in order to break ties with a character he cant stop writing about. The character Guido is a film director in charge of leading a brainstorm session with his crew in order to find an idea for a film to make. Everything seems fine until the reality around him collapses as he realizes that he is stuck within a movie.

There is also a full body size swamp monster suit that will be created and used in the beginning scene. My amazing, talented friend Jose Aponte is building the suit for the film. We want to pay homage to classic 50's monster movies in that scene, so the suit quality is important, its estimated cost is around $600. I will show the progress of the suit as it comes. Below I include some images of the blueprint.

Filming will begin late October - early November. Post production will commence right after and last until December 11th, which is when the film will premiere at the directors showcase at Northwest Vista College in San Antonio, Texas.
