Support the Bashor Family

Just two days ago, Jason, a loving and hardworking husband and father was out of state working in Michigan. After the job was done and before they went home, Jason and a colleague decided to rent snowmobiles and have a little fun. Tragically, they were involved in an accident and Jason did not survive. His family is shocked and sadden that this Navy Veteran (2002-2012) was taken away from them so suddenly.

Jason was married to Katie for 14 years - together for over 20 and they have two amazing children, Haylee and Lucas.

Facebook Message from Katie Bashor posted December 17th:
I never thought I would be writing something like this, much less on Facebook. Jason was in Michigan on a business trip. They were headed home tonight, but before they headed home, they wanted to have some fun after working so hard all week. They decided to rent snow mobiles. They were in an accident and Jason didn't make it. I don't even know how I'm typing this right now. Everyone knows he was my entire world. 20 years of my 32, have been spent loving this incredible man. I'm at a loss for our kids. I don't know how I'm gonna live this life without him. He is the most amazing man I've ever met. I am so lucky to call him mine. I love you mostest Jason!

As people are asking how they can help, what we know is that they first need your prayers. They also will need help in the coming year as they grieve and learn to adapt to life without Jason. This money will go to Katie to use as needed--for funeral arrangements, for Haylee and Lucas, for help with the home and the yard, whatever she needs as she grieves and adjusts.

For full disclosure so that everyone knows who is responsible for getting your donations to Katie, my name isJess Rozzi, I live in Sag Harbor, NY. Katie  and I went to grade school together and share the same birthday.  Katie will add her checking account information to this account so we are able to deposit all of your contributions directly to her for her to use as she needs.

*** Please note that in making a donation you will see a “tip” drop down bar. This is OPTIONAL. The tip goes to Go Fund Me not Katie. If you wish to NOT to leave a tip click “other” and type $0.00” ***

This fund is created to help with her children and the expenses that come with raising little ones, meals, mortgage payments, bills etc. This is still so very new but please contribute as you feel led. I will update here as needed. Thank you all for blessing the Bashor family.
