Our beloved Duchess and Duke have great need of you…

While we have survived the initial onslaught of the plague together as a community, we have more a need than ever for your support!

The Duke and Duchess have already begun some big changes—namely, a new home!

We held our Annual Faire Weekend here last November, celebrating Renaissance and Appalachian history, handmade crafts by skilled merchants,

music and dance by amazing musicians and entertainers,

artisan demonstrations,

jousting,

and most importantly: magic!

We've grown so much in the last year, and we're continuing to get even bigger and better with the help of those who have been generous with their time and donations. What keeps our faire running from year to year is community heart and hard work—and donations from folks like you!

So many have asked how to help … here is your chance!

We are an entirely volunteer-run nonprofit organization, which means any and all revenue we generate goes right back into overhead and improvements for the faire. One of the best ways to help support ARF is by donating the cost of a weekend pass ($20). If you can't afford that, any amount you can donate today will help ensure that the Appalachian Renaissance Faire can continue, celebrating the combination of history and art through a uniquely imaginative Appalachian Renaissance experience for years to come.

Your donation will go directly to the faire and help ensure we have the funds to continue improving our new home to provide you with a weekend you'll not soon forget!

Improvements include (but are not limited to): the construction of new stages and the betterment of existing ones, more immersive decorations and landscaping, earth-moving to make traversing the site better for everyone, building and expansion of the faire town square itself, and the procurement of much bigger and better parking for much-improved access.

None of this is possible without the support and donations of our amazing community. We absolutely love what we do, and dream big about how we can improve and better make the experience that we can bring you from year to year.
