<div>It doesn't help that we haven't made many friends and are very isolated here. We need a broader support system than we have now.

<div>As we have to get rid of most of our things anyway—because of the mold—it seems like the perfect time to move to a safer state—one with family, with a trans and disability-friendly legislature, and with weather more suitable for chronic illness.

<div><strong>We'd like to move to California to be with family.</strong> That's pretty expensive—$8000. But even if we stay here, it's going to be expensive to move—$5000. If we're able to camp in California for the first month or two, it's only $3000-4000.
