Support the 50th anniversary of UK Gay Pride!

Donation protected
What’s a 14-foot papier-mache cucumber got to do with the 50th anniversary of Gay Pride?

You are soon to find out!

But we need a little bit of your help to make the 1st of July 50th anniversary of Gay Pride as theatrical, memorable, outrageous and powerful as possible - just as it should be.

We need to raise £1500 to recreate some of the theatrics that happened on the route 50 years ago and make banners with the original slogans from 1972 and our continued
demands for revolutionary freedom for all.

We also need to make the demonstration as accessible as possible. This will include GLF high-vis jackets for our marshals and at least ten wheelchair-accessible rickshaws to support those 50 years ago to come back and take over Central London. We also need ten volunteers to help cycle the rickshaws either some or all the way - please contact [email redacted]. The route is Trafalgar Square area, up Charing Cross Road and Oxford Street to Marble Arch and ending at Speakers Corner, followed by a ‘Gay Day’ picnic and games in Hyde Park

We also have some very special guest speakers for you who have travel expenses that need to be covered.

We are so excited to all be together with you on the day. Meeting point - Friday July 1st 1pm on the steps of St Martins in the Field Church, Trafalgar Square - spread the word like wildfire! :)

Please join us to say once again, loudly and proudly
‘How dare you presume I’m heterosexual!!!’

MEGA LOVE to everyone who has helped make this happen so far! All press / logistical / general requests to [email redacted]
