<div>On January 8th, 2025, <strong>Thalia's family lost their home and all their personal belongings in the Los Angeles County wildfires.</strong> Thalia's parents are immigrants who migrated to California decades ago and, like many other immigrant families, worked extremely hard to build a life in the United States. They built a successful party and catering family business from the ground up and were able to buy a beautiful home in the quaint suburban city of Alta Dena. They had been living in that home for the last 20+ years, building parts of the home with their own hands.

<div>Thalia grew up in that home alongside her two brothers, where she would go on to become the first person in her entire family to receive a college degree, and also earn a JD and become a CA licensed attorney. <strong>That home meant everything to her and to her family.</strong> It is a devastating loss. They eventually will move on from this disaster, but in the meantime, <strong>your support would go a long way as they navigate this journey.</strong>
