Terry Williams has always been the heart of his community—a kind, generous man who never hesitated to help others. For 25 years, he’s been a beloved customer service representative at Walgreen’s in the South Suburbs of Chicago, known for his warm smile and genuine care for everyone he meets. Terry’s faith and commitment to his church, especially the Men’s Fellowship group, have been a source of strength and inspiration to many. As a devoted brother, uncle, and friend, he’s touched countless lives with his selflessness and compassion.

 Over the past five months, Terry’s family noticed troubling changes. Once meticulous and reliable, he became forgetful and unusually tired. Concerned, they took him to urgent care, where an MRI revealed a large, rare brain tumor and significant swelling. He was rushed to Northwestern Memorial Hospital for a six-hour emergency surgery. While doctors were able to remove 70% of the tumor, Terry now faces a long road ahead, including further treatments like chemotherapy or radiation. His short-term memory remains poor, and he often feels confused about his surroundings, longing to return home, to his church, and to the customers he loves serving.

 Terry’s medical journey has brought overwhelming financial challenges. He is unable to work, and mounting medical bills, rehabilitation costs, and daily living expenses have put his home at risk of foreclosure, with an auction looming in November. Terry’s greatest wish is to recover in the comfort of his own home, surrounded by family and friends.
