Support Terry and Debbie Longland

As some of you may know Terry was in a terrible car accident on Thursday Sept 13th. His vehicle was hit and pushed down a 30 foot embankment. The rescue personnel did an amazing job of extraditing him from his truck with the Jaws of Life. He was transported to Nanaimo Hospital and because of the extent of his injuries then transferred to Victoria General. He broke his neck along with other minor injuries. He is doing better than expected and we are all surprised by where he is now compared to 4 days ago. Debbie (my mom) and family are down in Victoria dealing with all of the issues that arise from an accident like this.
The process has started with insurance etc etc but who knows how long before any of that can or will help. Family members are kicking in what they can but every expense is coming directly out of pocket at this point. They are needing some immediate help so I'm starting this fund for a few reasons:
1. Expenses are starting to mount while Debbie is away from home to be near the hospital.
2. There are so many unknowns ahead with Terry's recovery and transition back home.
3. Debbie has her own set of medical issues and the stress stemming from the situation and the unknowns ahead weighs heavy on her health as well.
I'm trying to minimize the immediate financial stress by asking you all for help.
They are both humble and not ones to ask for help (NEVER) so I am asking on behalf of them. I know we are all bombarded with these types of campaigns but rest assured that every penny will go directly to help cover the costs incurred for supporting Debbie and Terry during his time in the hospital ie food/accommodation/gas/parking for Debbie, as well as, any costs associated with Terry's home support care in the future (I don't know what that is yet). Every bit of help is so so appreciated. I understand that some of you might not have extra money to spare so I will keep you updated about other ways to help in the future if you would to like offer a hand.
