Friends and Family,
As most of you know, Terri Irby (my mom) went into Septic shock on August 3rd. She had complained of pain which we thought was her Fibromyalgia. Saturday morning, my dad called 911 and thank God he did or she would not be here now. She had a tear, which wasn’t visible by a scope because it was in between her esophagus and stomach. This tear caused toxic fluids to spread and doctors said this was very serious and very dangerous. Luckily, after a 5-hour surgery, they located the tear in her stomach and were able to remove part of her stomach and repair. We are so thankful for her amazing doctors. She did have covid pneumonia on top of this. She had fluids in her chest from this causing her oxygen level to drop. Through prayers and strength, she is healing! Next step, will be going to physical therapy at a facility. We are uncertain how long, but know it will be a long road to recovery. My dad is a truck driver who has taken off the last 3 weeks of work to support and love mom. We are asking for any donation to help support her recovery and hospital bills.
