<li>Just a little bit about myself and our current story and blessing. I am Terri Woods Sirmon, married to a man who has dedicated his life to his family and as a first responder, Jonathan Sirmon. I have four children, two that I was blessed with later in my life. I have five grandchildren and three dogs. God has blessed me with things beyond measure. With that being said, I want to tell you about my current story with someone who has experienced tremendous trials over the past five years. On March 3rd, I was scrolling through Facebook. I saw a post of Jeanna Mathis Smith about her husband Garrett Smith, a family that I have been following their story of cancer and being in remission and then out of remission. On this day, the post seemed a little more desperate. They were looking for someone with O blood type. In that moment, my spirit or should I say the Holy Spirit spoke to me. It said this is you, you are his person. I reached out to Jeanna and told her I have O blood type. I continued to pray and started the process. If it was God's will then everything would fall into place and I would be a complete match. With God's grace, he allowed me to be the match and bless this family with a portion of my liver. They continue to tell me that I am a blessing, but little do they know, it is a blessing for me.

<div>With all of that being said, <strong>the medical expenses are covered, but the housing, travel, and food are not.</strong> The housing for a safe place in Chicago for just the month I will be there is super costly. Garrett and his family not only have to pay for their travel costs but three to four months of housing. <strong>I am hoping to alleviate some of my expenses for them.</strong> Jonathan and I would love to be able to pay for all of this ourselves, but it is just so costly, we can't. If you can offer any help, we truly appreciate it. If you can't, your prayers will be great. The surgery is on July 29th, then Garrett and I will be on the road to recovery. Garrett, his wife, and two boys will be on the road to a life of normalcy with a healthy future ahead. I thank God for allowing me to be the one to help them do that.
