So many in our Santa Cruz Mountain community have been blessed to know Ted and his family for many years. Ted is an SLV native who graduated from SLVHS and makes his living in the community as an associate pastor, musician, children's tutor, and real estate agent. If you don't know Ted and his family directly, you certainly have friends or family members that do. You've driven past Ted and his family and stood next to them in Paul's line at Safeway countless times.

<div>About two weeks ago, Ted received news that he has a form of lymphoma. While Ted currently feels fine, the road ahead is likely to have obstacles that Ted and his family will need to overcome. Ted's family, just like so many of us, has struggled in recent times to keep up with the soaring cost of living. Like the rest of us, they were managing and looking forward with hope to more prosperous times. With this new twist, Ted's family faces a new struggle and the stress of a new uncertainty that many of us do not face.

<div>While many of us cannot completely understand the stresses that Ted and his family are experiencing right now, we can imagine what it must be like. And while we don't have the power to reduce the uncertainty of this medical challenge, <strong>we do have the power to profoundly reduce the uncertainty of their financial challenge</strong>.
