We are thrilled to share that The Matrix (77710A), our VEX IQ Robotics team, has won the 2024-2025 North Carolina State VEX IQ Elementary Robotics Championship, earning both the Excellence Award and Teamwork Championship Award! This incredible achievement has secured our team a spot at the 2025 VEX IQ Worlds Robotics Competition event, which will take place in May 2025 at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center in Dallas, TX. We are honored to represent North Carolina on the global stage!

VEX IQ is one of the largest robotics competitions in the world, with more than 20,000 teams competing from 50+ countries for a chance to attend VEX Worlds. Only five teams from North Carolina receive this prestigious invitation, and our team is proud to be one of them!

Throughout the season, our team has demonstrated outstanding teamwork, innovation, and perseverance, earning multiple awards, including Excellence, Teamwork Championship, and Robot Skills Championship. Now, we have the opportunity of a lifetime to compete against the best teams from around the world.

However, attending VEX Worlds comes with significant costs, including registration fees ($1800), travel, lodging, and robot shipping expenses. We are reaching out to our community, friends, and family for support to help make this dream a reality.
