Hi Everyone,
This is Christine from AK and Laura from the Yukon, representatives of the International support crew for Team Baldwin! :)
Aric & Steph live where the mountains meet the ocean in Skagway, Alaska, with their sweet little husky, Daagi. In February 2021, Aric was unexpectedly diagnosed with what looks likely to be a rare bile duct cancer; he and Steph are now in Seattle working with an expert medical team, and a treatment plan will begin evolving as further tests and recommendations come in. Aric and Steph are avid wilderness travelers, practiced at journeys that require fortitude, patience, creativity, optimism, and most of all, teamwork. Those of you who know him know there is no one with more positive determination than Aric! With Steph, family and friends alongside, he is equipped for whatever comes his way.
Thank you to all of who have asked for a way to contribute. Even with health insurance, we all know major medical care is financially burdensome: travel expenses, hotels, deductibles, not to mention the daily & monthly expenses accruing at the gallery Aric & Steph started last year (Boreal Artworks!) If you'd like to help take the pressure off their family and show your support, Aric & Steph would be incredibly grateful.
