Support Tea

6 year old Tea Akins was diagnosed with pylocytic astrocytoma with pilomyxoid features at the age of 14 months old. Since her diagnosis, Tea has undergone chemotherapy treatments at Vanderbilt. Her recent MRI showed growth and we will stop her chemotherapy treatment to start a proton therapy, which unfortunately the proton therapy she needs is not offered in Tennessee. Tea needs help to get to C.H.O.P. (Children Hospital of Philadelphia) where she will receive her proton therapy for the next 6 weeks.
