<div>I am proud to call this individual, Tassy, my good friend whom I’ve known for many years.  When I met Tassy she was a strong motivated, determined, generous, caring   cheerful, and healthy independent woman. Over the course of two years her life has been in a major decline due to unexpected health issues, that have unfortunately gotten dramatically more severe.  She had not been feeling well a while back and after seeing several specialists, it was undetermined what was causing her to be so ill. Until the last year and a half she has finally had some clarification as to what is really going on with her body. Since then, she’s been diagnosed with Systemic Lupus, Discord Lupus, Sjögren’s Syndrome,Antiphospholipid syndrome (APS), Fibromyalgia, AFIB, and Mixed connective tissue disease (MCTD).  If that weren’t enough for one person to handle, she has recently been diagnosed with Lymphoma and has started aggressive chemo therapy treatment. Up until now Tassy has held her head high and tried holding everything together on her own, even working while waiting for disability to make a determination, which has yet to happen.  She was told it  could be several more months for this to go through, where she can at least have an income to help her with daily living. Throughout this journey Tassy has lost so much. Her independence , her vehicle which she was so proud to get on her own, her own place to live, a future life partner, her storage unit which had most of her belongings, and all her hard earned savings along with her happiness.  My hope by creating this is to help take some of the stress and worry off of her, and to help give her the opportunity to get well again with some peace of mind. The money would go a long way..towards a place to live, a vehicle to help her get to frequent medical appointments and specialists. That’s not even including chemotherapy which she has to endure every 4 days for the next three months, and the basic needs for any human being to get by in life.  Although Tassy is as tough as they come,  it is heart breaking to think how alone she must feel going through all this. Drowning in uncertainty and fear is stressful, terrifying for her and incredibly depressing.  Any donation would be Greatly appreciated beyond words, it’s life changing.
